With the traditional "tangle teaser" brush, it wouldnt get all the way to her scalp and because it would get caught in knots she wouldn't brush all the way through (or let me or anyone brush her hair) she'd end up with big mats and her scalp had cradle cap!!

My daughter’s hair is very thick and wavy plus she has a super sensitive scalp. I’ve tried soooo many shampoos and treatments and brushes none of which really helped and certainly not on their own. Daily hair brushing was traumatic and let’s not go to the brushing after she’s washed it ... !!

OMG this is seriously the best brush I have ever used! I bought a brush at a market in sa (another brand) and within 2 months the whole thing fell apart). That brush cost me over $35 and didn't feel anywhere near as nice as the dream detangler
